5972 olton hall coasts through bordesley under dark skys shortly after a monsoon like downpour

seeing as i was in the doghouse at home i went out to phot some clicks

4936 kinlet hall with the second weeks shakespeare express , picks its way through darkest small heath

another great day out first it was cromwell leaving loughborough with the white rose then to gcrn for the visiting O4 then up to the midland railway centre for the duchess then back to the gcrn for another go at the O4 then over to the gcr for a look at the N2 and the 8F back to the gcrn and finally cromwell again
has can be seen my luck ran out towards the end of the day

some years ago i got the idea to try and photograph every preserved br steam diesel and electric loco , im slowly getting there and with that in mind it was off to peak rail today for there newly restored 8f after a mammoth 28 year overhaul
