RYE FARM - GOODMANS YARD

i recently bought a book called preserved locomotives of british railways
whilst looking at the locations of locos i came across gwr 2-8-0 3845 as being at rye farm wishaw near sutton coldfield
as this is only a couple of miles from me i went to investigate and found not only the 2-8-0 but this lot as well
i couldnt beleive it as i travel past there regularly quite a find
ps
if anyone fancys having a look please ask when you get there the guy i spoke to didnt seem to mind but it is a private site

a pannier and a praire under restoration couldnt see any numbers 2008-08-29 15:54:56
